The Rev. Rebecca Harrison (and she asks that we call her “Rebecca”) was
ordained on September 16, 1984, by the Presbytery of North Central Iowa,
to serve as the pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Greene, Iowa. She
graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, with a
Master of Divinity degree.
Rebecca is married to Nigel Harrison, and together, they are the parents of
four lovely adult daughters. They are also cat parents to sweet Cindy.
Rebecca grew up as a PK, or preacher’s kid. Her father, the Rev. Francis
King, served many congregations while she and her seven siblings were
growing up. Her mother, the Rev. Lucille King, was ordained about 10 and
a half years after Rebecca! Lucille recently celebrated her 100th birthday.
Rebecca has served in a variety of installed and interim positions. She is
very excited to be serving here at Temple Terrace Presbyterian Church.
