Mission of the Month: Send a Kid to Camp
Our Mission focus for June is "Send a Kid to Camp". This is a matching funds challenge to the congregation where Mission will match every dollar up to $600.00 given to help send a Beth-El Farmworkers Ministry child to Cedarkirk Summer Camp. Cedarkirk Camp & Confernce Center, owned by the Presbyteries of Tampa Bay and Peace River, is located in Lithia FL on the Alafia River with 170 acres of woodland, wetlands, and uplands. Cedarkirk programs are designed to help campers grow closer to God and learn new things about themselves as they gain confidence, build friendships, and enjoy the outdoors while participating in games, songs, worship, and cookouts. Activities include canoeing, archery, zip lining, kayaking, campfires and more.
Food Pantry Needs:
The church food pantry serves the food insecure population in Temple Terrace and currently needs canned meats (tuna, chicken, Spam, etc.), jarred spaghetti sauce, rice, small bags of dried beans & canned green vegetables (green beans, peas, spinach, etc.) Your generous donations make this valuable service possible! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office on Mondays & Thursdays from 9am-4pm and ask for Jeanne.
